Chicago Journeyman Plumbers Union Endorses Garrido

John Garrido, candidate for alderman in the 45th Ward, formally announced today an endorsement by the Chicago Journeyman Plumbers Union, LU130 UA.
“These are challenging economic times for the 45th Ward. We believe that John Garrido’s experience as a community leader and small business owner will best serve our needs and support organized labor,” said James T. Sullivan, Business Manager for LU130 UA.
Garrido said this endorsement reaffirms support for new leadership in the 45th Ward.
“I’m pleased to have the support of such a fine union,” said Garrido. “It will take all of us working together--business owners, unions and community leaders--to create a vibrant economy in the 45th Ward.”
